A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR MICHAEL JOHNSON, SUNDAY, APRIL 27TH, 7:00 P.M., THE FINE LINE MUSIC CAFÉ
TOP MINNESOTA MUSICIANS RALLY FOR MICHAEL
As many of you know, Michael Johnson underwent unexpected quadruple bypass surgery last August. He's doing well, however it has been a long challenging recovery. Medical expenses not covered by insurance have continued to mount. Now, Minnesota musicians are answering the call that began at friendsofmichaeljohnson.com.
Announcing a celebration benefit concert - "MICHAEL & FRIENDS" at The Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis, MN April 27th. All proceeds from ticket sales to benefit the "Friends of Michael Johnson" fund.
Michael's many Minnesota friends are lining up to perform. Acts currently scheduled to appear include: Emcee: WCCO's Tim Russell, Peter Ostroushko, Peter Lang, Cookie Coleman with Dan Newton, Ann Reed, Pat Donohue, Jon Vezner, Patty Peterson, Billy McLaughlin, Prudence Johnson, Willie Murphy, Jeff Arundel, The Daisy Dillman Band, Pamela McNeill, Mary Jane Alm, Michael Monroe, Carl Franzen, Lonnie Knight with more listed closer to the date. Michael will perform a couple of songs as well. (Due to the nature of event, artist lineup is subject to change.)
