MJ Song and Event Database Files
#1
I hadn't intended to post these for public view but I figured out how to do it and thought some of you might find them interesting.

These are song and event exports from my MJ database. Note: I have a lot of work to do yet on it. Let me know if any of you find this interesting and I'll put up updates as I make changes. Also let me know if you have any questions. For the events, I have over 150 with unknown dates. Those are at the end. Anything with a date of 1/1/YYYY means I know (or guessed) the year but don't know the exact date. Thanks.

Phenomenal amount of work, Cindy. And VERY interesting too. Shows that a LOT goes on behind the scenes.
You are a gem!

Thanks much. I was able to add a list of songs to the events, and the event list (40 max) to the songs. Took me a while to find a workaround. If anyone sees something on here that they'd love to have on YouTube, I'd be glad to do it.

Cindy, I watched the show he did at Bunky's in March 85 and came away with a few more 'favourite' songs. How clear and resonant his voice was back then.
And since you're asking if we wish something posted to YouTube, his Minneapolis concert December 85 would be a treat to listen to as well if you have that one available.
Question; I understand the TV Video, Concert, Radio etc. but what is the significance of "Sound Board?" Were you on the soundboard?

And do keep up the terrific work!!

Re: 1985 concert - you got it. After the Simon & Garfunkel series is over with.

So "concert" means I recorded it (with a few exceptions) with a hand held recorder in the audience. Sound Board means it was recorded on a recorder which was hooked up to the sound board. Does that make sense? I used to call the latter Concert/Studio, which means it was a concert with studio audio quality. I figured Sound Board made more sense. If you have any alternate suggestions, let me know!

Sounds good to me.
And I have more tab in the works and coming your way, but not just yet. I'm having issues with my left hand. Not the best news for a guitarist.....still...

And LIVE means recorded not in a studio or a concert. I'm not sure what to call it. Like in my living room. The next song I'm putting up is a live recording.

The 1985 concert is up. Thanks for requesting it!

It took practically all day. I had to keep redoing it, I won't bore you with details and then the upload to YouTube took several hours, plus I quit out of it accidentally when it was 33% along. (I need a new computer so have started a GoFundMe.)  Big Grin

Hope your left hand is getting better.

Always appreciate what you do, Cindy. I can only imagine all that goes into uploading these onto YouTube.

As for my hand, it will get better after surgery in January. It's a drag babying it these days but looking forward to February.

Good luck. Hope you have help. I broke my wrist last November and had surgery. Opening a can of cat food with one hand was impossible.

FWIW, the city for Charlotte's Web is Rockford Ill. There are two concerts there in your database. I also remember seeing him at the UofI in Champaign Urbana in the late 70s-early 80s, but I don't see it on the list?

Thanks, I've filled in Rockford IL.  You won't see all concerts on this list - this is only for recordings. You can see the concert list at https://mjblue.com/mjsched.html.
